Nurture Yourself & Ground Yourself: Thai Massage, Self-Massage & Breathing Workshops (Part 1 & 2)

I’m excited to come back and teach at “in-person” 24th Annual International Aerial Dance Festival for Frequent Flyers Aerial Dance in Boulder this Aug!! 

This year, I’m teaching 2 workshops. You do not have to be an aerialist to attend these workshops. These are all-levels workshops in Boulder in person.

Nurture Yourself with Thai massage, Self-massage & Breathing

Part 1: Upper body 

This workshop combines the healing art of Thai massage, soothing self-massage and breathing technique which can be the ultimate self-care routine for your daily life. With Thai massage, we will use hands, feet, arms and legs to guide the receiver through a series of yoga poses with fluid movements, gentle pressure and stretching. In this workshop, we will work particularly on the tightness and tension of the upper body.  We will work on our chest and abdominal area with self-massage to relax and calm the nervous system, followed by the soothing breathing exercises. This whole session will cultivate a sense of nurturing, grounding, restoration and the empowerment for self-healing. 

*No prior massage/bodywork experience is required and there is no need to come with a partner. 

*Wear something comfortable but no loose shorts.

*Bring a yoga/exercise mat and a blanket/pillow if possible for more comfort.

Ground Yourself with Thai massage, Self-massage & Breathing

Part 2: Lower body + Neck/Face/Head 

This workshop combines the healing art of Thai massage, soothing self-massage and breathing technique which can be the ultimate self-care routine for your daily life. With Thai massage, we will use hands, feet, arms and legs to guide the receiver through a series of yoga poses with fluid movements, gentle pressure and stretching.  In this workshop, we will work particularly on tightness and tension in the lower body and the pelvic region. We will work on our neck, face and head with self-massage to increase the relaxation and calming of the nervous system followed by soothing breathing exercises. This whole session will cultivate a sense of nurturing, grounding, restoration and the empowerment for self-healing. 

*No prior massage/bodywork experience is required and there is no need to come with a partner. 

*Wear something comfortable but no loose shorts.

*Bring a yoga/exercise mat and a blanket/pillow if possible for more comfort.
